Nicole has multiple fields of knowledge within the realm of vocal music that she specializes in. One of her strengths is creating an inviting, warm atmosphere, inspiring cohesiveness, purpose, and teamwork, and connecting that to the music-making. She also has a wealth of knowledge and various techniques for improving vocal ability and music literacy. Whether you're an administrator who'd like to bring in a guest to inspire and hone your already fabulous teachers, or a director wanting a fresh ear and insight for your students, Nicole would be honored to work with you!

Nicole can come work with your students in various settings. Some areas of interest are choral music preparation, choral team-building workshops, critiques and rehearsals before choral performances, musical theatre audition workshops, college audition workshops, and critiques for stage production dress rehearsals (musicals).
Nicole has a passion for helping fellow music teachers. She knows how important and how BIG of a job it is and would love to assist teachers however she can. Nicole can speak with teachers about many topics, but her specialities include building culture in the classroom, creating positive relationships with students and communities, classroom management strategies, choosing repertoire, writing curriculum, teaching sight-reading/music literacy, and lesson planning and rehearsal pacing.
Nicole has served as Adjunct Voice Faculty at Hollins University for two years and continues to serve in this position.
